Kiraak RP: TDP Should Control Before It's Out of Hands (2026)

Here's a hard truth: Politics has become a breeding ground for toxic behavior, and it's time to call it out before it spirals further out of control. The recent rise of Kiraak RP, a former comedian turned TDP supporter, is a perfect example of how unchecked rhetoric can tarnish an entire party's image. In a shocking turn of events, RP, who gained fame through the comedy show Jabardasth and later ventured into the food business, has emerged as a vocal critic of the YSR Congress party, leaving a trail of controversial statements in his wake.

But here's where it gets controversial... While RP's scathing attacks on YSR Congress leaders might seem like a strategic move to gain favor with the TDP, this approach mirrors the very behavior that led to the YSR Congress's downfall between 2019 and 2024. During that period, YSR Congress leaders relentlessly targeted Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh, hoping to impress their leader, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Although they succeeded in gaining his approval, the public vehemently rejected their tactics, resulting in a humiliating defeat for the party and its outspoken members.

And this is the part most people miss... RP's actions, though seemingly isolated, could inadvertently lump the TDP into the same category as the YSR Congress in the eyes of the public—a party that tolerates abusive and disrespectful politics. For instance, his recent mockery of Botsa Satyanarayana’s stammering issue, while discussing the Heritage-Laddu controversy, drew widespread criticism. Despite the YSR Congress rallying behind Botsa, the damage was already done, as such behavior only alienates voters who crave decency in politics.

RP, who holds no official position within the TDP, is increasingly being perceived as an unofficial spokesperson for the party. This is a dangerous precedent, as his unchecked remarks could force the TDP to pay a hefty price for his mistakes. The problem with individuals like RP is that once they believe their inflammatory content is popular and their leadership is satisfied, there’s no stopping them. Worse yet, this toxic behavior is contagious. As RP gains traction on platforms like YouTube and Instagram Reels, others may follow suit, further polluting the political landscape.

Here’s the million-dollar question: Is the TDP willing to risk its reputation by allowing such behavior to continue? It’s high time the party’s leadership steps in and puts an end to this before it’s too late. Politics should be about substance, not sensationalism. What do you think? Is RP’s approach helping or harming the TDP? Let’s debate this in the comments—I want to hear your take!
