A Life Well-Lived: Remembering Aldoria Arsenault
A Saint John Legend Passes On
It's with a sense of profound sadness that we bid farewell to Aldoria Arsenault, a beloved member of our community, who left us on February 11, 2026, at the ripe age of 82. Born in Tracadie on March 24, 1943, Aldoria's journey through life was a testament to resilience and joy.
Aldoria leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His wife of 55 years, Lucie, stands as a pillar of strength, along with their children, Allan (Karri) Arsenault and Darlene Myers. The family tree extends further with grandchild Kirk Arsenault (Makala) and great grandchildren Simon, Spencer, and Samuel, a true testament to the joy of family.
But here's where it gets interesting: Aldoria's life wasn't just about family. He dedicated 34 years of his life to Irving, where his hard work and dedication were a shining example to all. Retirement brought a new chapter, one filled with simple pleasures. Aldoria found happiness in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature and the company of his loved ones. Music, especially the guitar, was his passion, and his woodworking skills were a true reflection of his artistic soul.
And this is the part most people miss: Aldoria's true wealth lay in his relationships. He cherished his family and friends above all else, and they, in turn, cherished him. His loyal companion, Pepper, was a constant source of comfort and joy, a true friend through thick and thin.
Aldoria was predeceased by his parents, O'Neil and Helene Arsenault, as well as his sister Elsie Arsenault and brother-in-law Arthur Savoie. Their memories live on through the lives they touched.
To honor Aldoria's memory, the family invites you to a visitation on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Street, Saint John, NB, E2J 2G3. A Funeral Liturgy will commence at 2 pm in the Fundy Chapel. Donations in Aldoria's name can be made to the Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Society.
As we reflect on Aldoria's life, we're reminded of the importance of cherishing the simple pleasures and the people who bring us joy. So, let's celebrate his life and the impact he had on those around him. Rest in peace, Aldoria. Your memory lives on.
